Enjoying the October sun...
We were out and we ended up at the "Luna Park." We didn't go on any of the rides that day but a friend of ours gave us a bunch of tickets so hopefully we will be able to use them before the Luna Park moves to the next town. The kids will have loads of fun and so will us "big kids"....:D!

School....
My kids just finished their first week of public school.
It's a whole new experience for my kids and for me but they are integrating well and seem to like it. They are going to be able to learn Italian and though it's going to be difficult in the first few months I know they will catch on quickly and will be speaking and understanding soon.
On Monday the local school tested them to evaluate their grade level and they all did very well. Chloe got a 9 (10 being the highest here), Derrion got an 8 and Ethan a 7. I was very proud of them. They had their first day of school on Tuesday.
The teachers are all very happy to have them in their classes. They said it will bring new culture to the school and classrooms and esp. to help the other children with their English. Ethan's teacher has only good to say about him.
I'm having to get up at 6:30am to make them breakfast and get them up and give them some devotions before they are off. Both Chloe and Derrion start school at 8:00 and Ethan at 8:30 (He goes to a different school). It will take some time getting used to but I'm sure my body clock will adjust soon enough (theirs too). It has been so difficult to get the kids in bed before 10:00pm and now at 8:30pm they are already in bed.
I'm off to bed soon too....a new week awaits....

FILP Celebration
The FLIP celebration was held in Verona this year as well as a small fellowship. So we all piled in the van and drove down on Monday, stayed 2 nights and left Wednesday morning.
It was wonderful seeing everyone that came and it was great to be able to have some fellowship with the other homes here in Italy.
Here are the kids that participated in the FLIP (Ethan is missing and few other kids). From the MC group Derrion won first place. I was very proud of him.
There were other pics taken but I wasn't able to get them before we left.

Casciana Terme
We were hired to be the main entertainers at this summer festival in a hill town nearby. It was for the evening before and then the afternoon and evening the next day.
It was a lot of work but it was a lot of fun too. After we danced to the song "We're All in this Together," Daniel was able to give a witness and pray with the children and parents in the crowd.

Electra
She has an amazingly strong personality at 1 1/2 and truly lives up to her name. She is so smart though and acts and talks like a 3 yr old. She is the most adorable thing....

Nick, Katya, and family....
It was a total miracle that we got in contact again. It turned out that we were both in Germany at the same time and the Lord worked it out for us to meet. Last time we saw each other was over 5 yrs ago. We spent a wonderful day together in the Palmengarten and there was alot to catch up on. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed ourselves emensely.
